Atomino 2010

Philippe Marcus is a comtemporary french artist, whose work is mostly centered on painting, a kind of figurative paiting, but he is also eager to explore sculpture and installation when the opportunity appears.

He studied art at the Paris-Cergy National Art School and recieved his diploma in 2006. He exhibited his work mostly in France but also Germany, England or Austria.

I define my painting like a form of “pop primitivism” in which the volonty of representation is a fundamental aspect of my work.
